RESULTS:
Event 1) NGW begins now! The show starts with a recap

between Orton and Jericho is being changed to a Triple Threat match also
featuring…Sting!!! He tells us that Kurt Angle will go one on one with
Matt Hardy after what happened last night. The X-divison match at Backlash
is a rematch of last night. The rest of the matches will be decided
tonight! Holla Holla Holla!
Event 2) AJ Styles controls most of
the match taking Butchers extreme and throwing back at him along with
technical moves like never before. Shelton trips up the the ref and goes
after AJ but he gets a Styles Clash for it! AJ gives Butcher a Styles
Clash as the ref recovers.
Winner: AJ Styles
Event
3) Awesome Kong dominates all three members all match it was just a matter
of who she would pin. She hits an Awesome Bomb on Mickie but doesn’t pin
instead she goes over and delievers one to ODB! As this happens Love
hit’s the ring and jumps on her back, with the distraction Velvet Sky
covers ODB for the win.
Winner: Velvet Sky- ODB is out of the
match at Backlash
Event 4) Kurt Angle and Big Show battled back
and forth taking everything and giving more back. At the end Show goes for
a choke slam but Angle powers out a hits an amazing Angle Slam!

Event 5) After the match Matt Hardy
attacks Angle after the match and puts on a head scissors announcing at
Backlash it’s a submission match!
Event 6) Matt Classic makes
his debut. He challenges anyone that lost in the battle royal to come out
and “lose again”. Sabin and Shelley come out.
Event 7)
Handicap match: Classic fights them off as long as he can in this high
flying match but in the end the numbers proved to great and the double
team allowed Sabin to hit the Cradle Shock for the win.

Event 8) LAX dominate
DnD the whole match, while The Dudleys dominated The Briscoes. In the end
as The Dudleys and Briscoes were distracted with each other, Hernandaz hit
the Border Toss on Domino for the win.
Event 9) Mike Knox
simply overpowered Aries. As soon as Aries missed a 420 Splash on to the
outside it was all downhill. Knox won easy. But then after the match Paul
and Katie Lea Buchill made their way down the ring with chairs and beat
Knox bloody in front of the refs who couldn’t stop them.

Event 10) The Million Dollar Man Ted
Dibiase comes out and reveals that he helped pay for NGW to become what it
is today and that he has a lot of power in this company. He says that he
isn’t happy with the lack of titles Teddy introduced last night and that
at Backlash he will reveal two new NGW titles! And he will be the man to
pick the competitors!
Event 11) Samoa Joe andUmaga put on a
great show. Proving some guys have size and speed! In the end the Muscle
Buster proved to much for The Samoan Bulldozer!

Event 12) Cage and Edge come out and announce that they are
reunited! They are interrupted by…Are you ready?!?!?! DUN DUN!
/>Event 13) Both Cage and Edge andD-Generation X reunited tonight but one
out shined the other. DX put up a fight at first but Cage and Edge dirty
ways proved to be to much for DX to handle this time around. Cage and Edge
won and then afterwards delivered two painful Con-Chair-Tos to HBK of
DX!
Winners: Cage and Edge
Event 14) Senshi and
Christopher Danials unlike their opponents could work together which got
them the win. Petey was going for a Canadian Destroyer on Danials when
Sydal tagged himself in, they argued which allowed Danials to escape by
hitting a backdrop on Williams then tagging out and having Senshi teach
Sydal a lesson!
Winners: Senshi and Danials
Event
15) Nigel McGuinness went out of his element so to say in this match with
all the high risk, high flying moves he did. But in the end Jeff Hardy
proved to much. When Jeff hit the Twist Of Fate it was all over. He
followed it up with a Swanton and then a pin.
Winner: Jeff
Hardy
Main Event) Chris Jericho and Sting put on a legendary
match. At the end Sting went for a Stinger Splash but Y2J sent up on the
turnbuckle and turned it into a Hurricanrana. Jericho then waited an went
for a Codebraker but was pushed to the ropes and then hit by a big boot.
Jericho tried to skin the cat but Orton came over and hit an RKO behind
the refs back! Orton ran back to his seat and the ref counted Jericho
out!
Winner: Sting
Sting begins to play to the crowd
but turns around into an RKO! Orton looks at the carnage and just smiles
and holds his title up high as the show goes off air.

BACKLASH:/>
Event 1) JR and Mick Foley talk about the events leading up to
Backlash and the upcoming matches. Until Ted Dibiase makes his way to the
ring. He reminds us of what he promised on the last show so he now has the
honor of presenting- The Woman’s Tag Titles- and- The Pride Fighting
Title. He tells us the Woman’s Tag Titles are self explanatory. And The
Pride Fighting Title is simple only the fightingest champion of champions
will hold it because this title is defended each and every night! And the
champions will be crowned- now!

surprise partner. They accept.
